1. Land Tour Fare listed above are per person in U.S. dollars based on two adults sharing one twin bedded room, double occupancy and does not include any air ticket. A customer who travels alone is required to pay a single room supplement.
2. Airfare listed above includes round trip international air ticket and applicable China domestic air tickets, fuel surcharge and tax. Round trip international air ticket is based on Air China (CA), San Francisco (SFO), Los Angeles (LAX), Houston (IAH) or Vancouver (YVR) departure. For New York (JFK) or Washington, D.C. (IAD) departure, please add $100. For other cities, please call us for the US domestic add-on.
3. Charge for children under 12 (2-11 years of age): For airfare, the rate is 90% of the regular adult price. For land tour tare, the rate is 90% of the regular adult price if share a room with two adults and not asking for extra bed. If need an extra bed in the same room with two adults, the price is the same as adult. Children 12 and older will be charged at the regular adult fare.
4. Early departure and late return: There will a US$50 per person charge for air ticket deviation, in addition to airlines surcharge for different class and weekend if necessary.

Day 1 USA - Chongqing

Board an international flight bound for China. Cross the International Date Line.

Day 2 Chongqing

Arrive in Chongqing. Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the luxury hotel for rest and relaxation.

Day 3 Chongqing - Dazu - Chongqing - Yangtze River Cruise

After breakfast, we drive to Dazu. You will tour Baoding section of the well-known Dazu Rock Carvings inscribed by UNESCO on the list as one of the World Cultural Heritage. It was first built in 892 and completed by the end of the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279). Be back the city, have a city tour. You will have a hot pot dinner, then transfer to the pier and board our five-star President Cruise No. 7 vessel and begin our exciting Yangtze River adventure.

Day 4 Three Gorges

After breakfast, we embark on our Three Gorges adventure. Depending on the river conditions, our first shore excursion takes us to either Fengdu or Shibaozhai (shore excursions are at your own expense). The “Ghost City” Fengdu is known for its statues of ghosts and devils on Mingshan Hill. Shibaozhai’s attraction lays with its 12-story tall wooden pagoda, amazingly built 400 years ago without use of a single nail.After returning safely to our ship we again set sail. Onboard, we are free to enjoy shipboard entertainment such as feature films, live performances,well as demonstrations of traditional Chinese arts.

Day 5 Three Gorges

This morning, our ship first passes the mighty Qutang Gorge, sailing through its towering cliffs. Then our ship passes through the rushing waters and jagged turns of Wu Gorge. We arrive at Wushan to board small motorized sampans which afford us access to the Shennong Stream via the Daning River. Reboard later in the afternoon as our ship passes through the Xiling Gorge (western section), the longest of the famed Three Gorges. Stretching over 60 miles, Xiling Gorge is famous for its odd rock formations and tricky, treacherous currents. Arrive later at the Three Gorges Dam Project, currently the world’s largest hydroelectric project.

Day 6 Three Gorges - Yichang - Dangyang - Jingzhou

After breakfast, we disembark to board motor coaches which take us to Sandouping Village, site of this mammoth dam project. Return to the boat, we pass through Xiling Gorge (Eastern section). Our Three Gorges adventure ends upon our noontime arrival at Yichang. You will visit the old battle field of the Three Kingdom. Drive to Dangyang. You will tour Changbanpo and the Mausoleum of General Guanyu, Dangyang Bridge. Drive to Jingzhou. You will visit the museum in which you will see the body of a man in the Han Dynasty and other antiques.

Day 7 Jingzhou - Wuhan

Drive to Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province. You will tour the Provincial Museum and enjoy the concert played by the chime bells. Enjoy the local fish dinner.

Day 8 Wuhan - Xianning (Chibi) - Wuhan

Drive to Chibi (Red Cliff in Chinese) to visit the ruins of Chibi battlefield. It is right in here that the united army of the Shu and the Wu states defeated the Wei’s so- called one million soldiers. Here you will see the majestic statue of Marshal Zhou Yu, Nanping Hill, Feng Chu Temple where General Pang Tong read books on the art of war, the platform where Prime Minister Zhu Geliang borrowed the easterly wind, “ Chi Bi ( Red Cliff in Chinese)” written by Marshal Zhou Yu and the exhibition hall of the great battle. Many men of letters and poets visited this place and some great poems were written such as “ A broken halberd was recovered from the bottom of the Yangtze River; It was cleaned, polished and examined, and had a tale to tell. If the easterly wind didn’t help Marshal Zhou set fire on the enemy. The two Qiao of beautiful sisters Qiao would be captured in the palace of Cao”.( by Du Mu) Drive back to Wuhan. Enjoy a local special dinner.

Day 9 Wuhan - Xiangyang - Mt. Wudang

Drive to Xiangyang. You will visit the former residence of Mr. Zhugeliang and Other memorial buildings, the Madame City and the city walls. Drive to Mt. Wudang. You will enjoy the vegetarian dinner.

Day10 Mt. Wudang

Ascend and decent the peak by cable car to visit the Golden Crown Temple. After lunch, visit Tai Zi Po where the prince got his lessons and Purple Cloud Palace, the largest building complex on the mountain.

Day11 Mt. Wudang - Hanzhong

Drive to Hanzhong (5 hours driving). Tour the Shimen Plank Road Scenic Area. Ancient Shimen Plank Road, Hanzhong, located about 9 miles (15 km) to the northwest outskirts of Hanzhong city. Shimen Plank Road Scenic Area relies on the Shimen Dam and bears the beautiful natural scenery and traditional Chinese architecture. The most famous attractions in this scenic area are Shimen Plank Road, Shimen Tunnel and Shimen Dam.

Day12 Hanzhong - Jianmen Pass - Chengdu

Visit Jianmen Pass Beauty Spot, tour Jiangwei god, Yin and Yang double sword, Lei Ming Valley, Stalagmite Peak and the the Ancient Pass Tower. Enjoy the local cuisine lunch-Tofu Banquet. Drive to Chengdu.

Day13 Chengdu

After breakfast, visit the Temple of Marquis Wu. Drive to Mt. Qingcheng, it is a famous mountain of Taoism. Surrounded by countless peaks and densely covered by ancient trees whose branches reaching the sky, the mountain was named "Mt. Qingcheng" (Green Town in Chinese). Visit the Shangqing Palace by round-trip cable, The Shangqing Palace was first built in the Jin dynasty and the extant temple was built during the reign of Tongzhi in Qing dynasty. There are stone inscriptions as "the fifth famous mountain under the sun". Return to Chengdu. Enjoy the buffet at hotel for dinner tonight.

Day14 Chengdu - USA

After breakfast, you are transferred to airport for your return flight back to your home. You will be in the United States the same day. End of tour.
