REMARKS:
1. Land Tour Fare listed above are per person in U.S. dollars based on two adults sharing one twin bedded room, double occupancy and does not include any air ticket. A customer who travels alone is required to pay a single room supplement.
2. Airfare listed above includes round trip international air ticket and applicable China domestic air tickets, fuel surcharge and tax. Round trip international air ticket is based on Air China (CA), San Francisco (SFO), Los Angeles (LAX), Houston (IAH) or Vancouver (YVR) departure. For New York (JFK) or Washington, D.C. (IAD) departure, please add $100. For other cities, please call us for the US domestic add-on.
3. Charge for children under 12 (2-11 years of age): For airfare, the rate is 90% of the regular adult price. For land tour tare, the rate is 90% of the regular adult price if share a room with two adults and not asking for extra bed. If need an extra bed in the same room with two adults, the price is the same as adult. Children 12 and older will be charged at the regular adult fare.
4. Early departure and late return: There will a US$50 per person charge for air ticket deviation, in addition to airlines surcharge for different class and weekend if necessary.

Day 1   USA - Chengdu

Today we board an international flight bound for Chengdu, China. Cross the International Date Line.

Day 2   Chengdu

Arrive in Chengdu. Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the luxury hotel for rest and relaxation. Chengdu is the capital of "Heavenly State" (Tian Fu Zhi Guo), habitat of giant pandas and city of cotton-rose hibiscus. Benefiting from Dujiangyan Irrigation Project which was constructed in 256 B.C., Sichuan Province is reputed as "Tian Fu Zhi Guo", literally a place richly endowed with natural resources. Chengdu, as the capital, is extremely productive. The Min and Tuo Rivers, two branches of the Yangtze River, connected to forty other rivers, supply an irrigation area of more than 700 square kilometres (270.27 square miles) with 150-180 million kilowatts of water. Consisting of abundant mineral resources, the land is extremely fertile. 

Day 3   Chengdu

In the morning, we tour the Panda Preserve Base and visit the old alley. In the afternoon, we visit the Temple of Marquis Wu, the Thatched Cottage of Du Fu. Enjoy the famous Sichuan local cuisine for dinner tonight.

Day 4   Chengdu - Huanglong - Jiuzhaigou

In the morning, we fly to Huanglong, the world natural heritage site, famed for its peculiar karsts landscape and multihued ponds that are set off picturesquely by snow-top mountains, vertical ravines and vast forests. Finish sightseeing the main scenic spots in Huanglong, we drive to the fairyland - Jiuzhaigou, another world natural heritage site. Jiuzhaigou has been known for its natural wonders in terms of colorful waters appearing to be either magically peacock blue or emerald. All those who encounter it are overwhelmed by the breathtaking beauty of both its landscape and its lakes, springs, waterfalls, streams, rivers and shoals.

Day 5   Jiuzhaigou

Whole day excursion exploring the fantasy of Jiuzhaigou including visits to Shuzheng Waterfall, Changhai Lake, the River View Pavilion and Tibetan Village. For dinner the minority traditional cuisine is served. After dinner, we are entertained by the Tibetan & Qiang folklore dance show.

Day 6   Jiuzhaigou - Chengdu - Leshan - Mt. Emei

After breakfast, we fly back to Chengdu. Transfer to lunch upon arrival. Later proceed by bus to Leshan, the tour of Leshan includes a cruise on Min River, and a view of Leshan Grand Buddha, the largest stone-carved Buddha in the whole world, described as "A mountain emerges as a Buddha, and a Buddha- a mountain". Finish sightseeing at Leshan, before we drive to Emeishan, enjoy the local cuisine dinner - Tofu Banquet.

Day 7   Mt. Emei

A cable car ride takes us up to the Golden Summit. Sightseeing of Golden Summit at Mt. Emei. The Golden Summit rises over 3000 meters above sea level. There one may find an advantage point to appreciate sunrise, to view the sea of clouds, the Buddhist lamps and particularly the Buddhist flory which is most wonderful and captivating. Tonight we will enjoy Emei Vegetarian Dinner.

Day 8   Mt. Emei - Dujiangyan - Chengdu - Changsha

After breakfast, we travel to Dujiangyan, the ancient irrigation system. In the afternoon, we visit Qingyanggong, the best preserved memorial temple for Lao Zi. Return to Chengdu. In the afternoon, we fly to Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province.

Day 9   Changsha - Zhangjiajie

Zhangjiajie is acclaimed for its fantastic formations of peaks, crystal clear water, spectacular karst caves and the unrivalled high percentage of forest cover. Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area is acclaimed for its fantastic formations of peaks, crystal clear water, spectacular karst caves and the unrivalled high percentage of forest cover and was listed as a world heritage site in 1992. Today our tour will start with a visit to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the first authorized national forest park in China. Together with Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve and Tianzi Hill Nature Reserve, it makes up the famous Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Have a local flavor dinner.

Day10   Zhangjiajie

Today we continue our sightseeing tour in Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area. First we will visit to another reserve - Tianzi Hill. We ascend and descend Mt. Tianzi by cable car. Mt. Tianzi has been given a sobriquet "King of Hoodoos", it is characteristic of the area to have high and dense hoodoos.Then we tour Yellow Dragon Cave, a huge limestone cave in which there are two underground rivers, four waterfalls, 13 caverns and countless stalagmites. Tianmen Mountain is one of the most representative natural sceneries of Zhangjiajie, we will overlook Tianmen Cave today. For dinner we are served the local Tujia Minority Cuisine. After dinner, we enjoy the entertainment of special effect show “Tienmen Mountain Fox Fairy”.

Day11   Zhangjiajie - Yichang - Three Gorges

After breakfast, we drive to Yichang. On the way to Yichang, we will visit Jingzhou old town. Afterwards, we are transferred to the docks to board our President Cruises ship. Our hearts fill with excitement and anticipation as the ship departs in the night to sail up this mighty and mysterious river.

Day12   Three Gorges

The Long River has been shaping China's geography and culture for thousands of years. It evokes a sense of timelessness. Enjoy the river's primordial wonders in the civilized comforts and amenities on board. Today we visit the Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydroelectric dam under construction. Dubbed the "Great Wall across the River", the dam's mandates are to control floods, improve navigation, and produce huge amounts of electricity. We resume sailing in the afternoon and the Xiling Gorge looms ahead. Xiling is the longest of the Three Gorges and its treacherous frothing currents demand skillful piloting.

Day13   Three Gorges

The next Gorge we pass through is the Wu Gorge. Here, the long River turns and twists at very sharp angles while towering peaks, called the "12 Holy Peaks", look down. Try to catch a glimpse of the Goddess Peak for good luck. We reach Wushan and drop anchor. We arrive at Wushan to board small motorized sampans which afford us access to the Shennong Stream via the Daning River. We return to our ship in the afternoon and sail to the last remaining Gorge.

Day14   Three Gorges

Today sail through the last remaining gorge, the Qutang Gorge. Though the shortest of the Three Gorges, Qutang's soaring cliffs are the highest and its waters the most powerful. In the past, its churning whirlpools and swells and flying debris were feared as representations of the "river dragon". Today's travelers in modern ships safely and routinely ply these perilous rapids.Depending on the river conditions, our shore excursion takes us to either Fengdu or Shibaozhai (shore excursions are at your own expense). The “Ghost City” Fengdu is known for its statues of ghosts and devils on Mingshan Hill. Shibaozhai’s attraction lays with its 12-story tall wooden pagoda, amazingly built 400 years ago without use of a single nail. After returning safely to our ship we again set sail.

Day15   Chongqing - USA

This morning, our President Cruises ship's arrival in Chongqing marks the end of the memorable Three Gorges cruise. You are transferred to airport for your return flight back to your home. You will be in the United States the same day. End of tour.
