* Land Tour Fare are per person in U.S. dollars based on two adults sharing one twin bedded room, double occupancy and does not include any air ticket. A customer who travels alone is required to pay a single room supplement. Children under 12 (2-11 years of age) share room with adult and not asking for extra bed, the rate is 90% of the adult price. Day 1 USA - Beijing

Today we board an international flight bound for Beijing, China. Cross the International Date Line.

Day 2 Beijing

Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the luxury hotel for rest and relaxation.

Day 3 Beijing - Urumqi

After breakfast, be transferred to airport and fly to Urumqi. Upon arrival,  we will visit Bazaar. The great bazaar is the biggest trade market in Xinjiang and it is called a commodity exposition of the Centre Asia, it is currently China's largest bazaar, full of beautiful minority characteristics of commodities, this is a place for leisure shopping. Enjoy the large-scale song and dance performance at Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar.

Day 4 Urumqi -Burqin

We'll drive along the S21 Desert Highway. Although it's a vast expanse of desolation, there are beautiful sceneries along the way. Here, camels and cattle seem very close to people, casually shuttling on the highway, The scenery changes constantly throughout the hundreds of kilometers of the journey. The beauty of Xinjiang is truly along the road. We'll view Ulungur Lake (without entering the scenic area) on the way .We'll visit the "Colorful Beach". you'll find it's a colorful world with unique landform shapes, having all kinds of gullies, valleys and steep peaks. Under the sunlight, the landform here presents rich and colorful colors, including red, yellow, blue, green... Each color is extremely bright and dazzling. After arriving at Burqin, we'll check into the hotel to have a rest. Lunch: meal on the way. Dinner: Roast Fish banquet.

Day 5 Burqin - Kanas Lake - Jiadengyu

After breakfast, we'll head to the Kanas Scenic Area. After arriving at the entrance of the "Kanas Scenic Area", we'll take the shuttle bus to enter the Kanas Geological Park. Then we'll enjoy the scenery along the Kanas River, admire the original forest of Siberian larch and the birch forest scenery, as well as Fairy Bay, Wolong Bay, Moon Bay and Yaze Lake. We'll also visit the Kanas Lake. The pine forests cover the mountains and plains. When the breeze blows, the sound of the wind in the pines can be heard. The Kanas Lake is the favorite of photographers with the blue sky, white clouds, emerald green lake water and leisurely birch forest... It truly be called the first choice for painters and a paradise for photographers. Then we'll enter the "Wooden House World" - Kanas Village, shuttle among the unique wooden houses, participate in the "Tuvas' Family Visit" to experience the ethnic customs of the original Tuvas people, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Kanas Lake. After the tour, we'll head to Jiadengyu and check in the hotel. Lunch: Special roasted mutton kebabs in Kanas. Dinner: Xinjiang-style soup with rice in Jiadengyu.

Day 6 Jiadengyu - Hemu - Burqin

After breakfast, we'll drive to the "Hemu Scenic Area". We'll stop at safe viewing points to take pictures. You can tour this area by yourself according to your own interests after entering the Hemu Scenic Area. Tips for playing in Hemu: Walk among the birch forests. On the opposite side of the Hemu River is a dense birch forest. The tall and beautiful birch trees surround and protect Hemu, making it like a paradise in ancient books. Climb up the Harden Viewing Platform to see the Hemu village nestled among the mountains. Sit on the top of the mountain, enjoy the breeze and admire the beautiful scenery of Hemu Township. Then we'll take a bus to Burqin and check in the hotel. Lunch: Xinjiang-style big plate of chicken in Hemu. Dinner: Special roasted mutton in a clay oven in Burqin.

Day 7 Burqin -Devil's City - Huyanghe City

After breakfast, we'll head to the Devil's City Scenic Area. We'll take the characteristic small train to enter for sightseeing. The open carriages are convenient for taking pictures. Following the guidance of the audio guide, some rocks in the distance look like an eagle spreading its wings and coming towards us, some look like a heavenly dog looking at the moon vividly, and some look like the Titanic, which is magnificent. Before sunset, we can walk up to the viewing platform. Then we'll take a bus to Huyanghe City and check in the hotel. Lunch: Stewed rice with lamb trotters. Dinner: Chinese combination dishes in Huyanghe City.

Day 8 Huyanghe City - Sayram Lake - Yining

After breakfast, we'll drive to the beautiful "Sayram Lake". Blue color of the lake attracts everyone, and it's impossible to see through it at a glance. We must take a tour around the lake to get close to it. you can stop and go as you like. We'll give you the whole afternoon to enjoy the free time during the journey. It's said that there are ten thousand kinds of blue in Sayram Lake, and each kind can be fascinating. The clear blue, clear water and the swans that are not afraid of people in the lake form this charming Sayram Lake. When you come here and your eyes truly capture all of this, you'll understand the meaning of the phrase "be moved to tears". It turns out that "beauty makes you cry" is not an exaggeration. After leaving Sayram Lake, We'll pass through the Guozigou Bridge and arrive in Yining. Lunch: Special whitefish dishes in Sayram Lake or Running Meat Pie in Jinghe. Dinner: Special roasted lamb legs.

Day 9 Yining - Narat

After breakfast, we'll drive to the Narat Grassland and visit the "Narat Sky Grassland Scenic Area". It is one of the four major alpine grasslands in China. We'll take the shuttle bus to enter the sky grassland. From May to July, all kinds of wildflowers can be seen everywhere in Narat. The vast grassland makes you feel that you're swimming in a green ocean. You can ride a horse to wander on the vast grassland (the fee for the formal horse team is 80 - 100 yuan per hour, at your own expense). If it rains in the sky grassland and it's impossible to visit, we'll adjust to visit the river valley grassland instead. Lunch: Special roasted mutton rack. Dinner: Xinjiang-style mutton chop soup with noodles.

Day 10 Narat - Korla

We'll travel from the northern foot to the southern foot of the Tianshan Mountains. The scenery of the Tianshan Mountains along the way is very spectacular. After breakfast, we'll head to Korla to visit the "Bosten Lake", the largest inland freshwater lake in China, with an area of 965 square kilometers. The Bosten Lake, together with snow-capped mountains, lake scenery, oases, deserts, rare birds and strange animals, coexists and complements each other, forming a rich and colorful landscape painting. The large lake has a vast water area, with misty waves stretching as far as the eye can see, and the water and sky merge into one. It is known as a pearl in the desert. Then we'll head to the famous "Pear City" - Korla. Lunch: Special meatball soup on the way. Dinner: Special cold-water fish in the Bosten Lake.

Day 11 Korla - Kuqa

We'll take a bus to the "Buddhist Kingdom of Qiuci" - Kuqa City. Then we'll drive on the Duku Highway. The Duku Highway, with a total length of 561 kilometers, starts from Dushanzi in the north and ends at Kuqa County in the south, It runs through the Tianshan Mountains, Tens of thousands of officers and soldiers fought for ten years to break through this natural barrier, which can be regarded as a milestone in the history of China's highway construction. The Duku Highway is famous at home and abroad for its rich and diverse landscapes along the way and has become a must-visit place for countless highway travel enthusiasts. From north to south, you'll experience the change from an ice and snow world to a passionate desert. After coming out of the southern section, we'll head to visit the famous "Tianshan Mysterious Grand Canyon" . The Tianshan Mysterious Grand Canyon is located in the Keziliya Scenic Spot, one of the nine major film and television bases in China today. The huge red mountain mass was formed in the Cretaceous period of the Mesozoic Era 140 million years ago. After hundreds of millions of years of wind and rain erosion and flood scouring, it has formed crisscrossing ridges and grooves that are orderly layered. Then we'll take a bus to arrive at Kuqa. "Kuqa" in the ancient Qiuci language means "the city of the Qiuci people". It was the capital of the Quzhi State in "Records of the Western Regions in the Great Tang Dynasty". The most important part of the Qiuci culture is the famous Qiuci music and dance in the murals, which is a comprehensive art of musical instrument performance, song and dance performance, integrating music, dance and performance, faintly revealing the legacy of the music and dance of the ancient Qiuci. After thousands of years of inheritance and continuation, it emphasizes that there is music in the song, dance in the music, and music and dance are enjoyed together. We can enjoy the lively night market, appreciate the local characteristic night market culture, taste different exotic customs, understand the characteristics of various kinds of nang in Kuqa and the evolution of the nang culture history. You can buy some nang to taste. Lunch: Xinjiang-style pilaf on the way. Dinner: Special roasted mutton with nang in Kuqa.

Day 12 Kuqa - Kizil Thousand-Buddha Caves - Alar

We'll take a bus to the famous Buddhist site of the Qiuci Grottoes - the "Kizil Thousand-Buddha Caves", which belongs to the territory of the ancient Qiuci Kingdom and is one of the birthplaces of the Qiuci Grottoes art. Its grotto architecture art, sculpture art and mural art occupy an extremely important position in the Buddhist art of Central Asia and the Middle East. The ancient Qiuci Kingdom was located at a strategic point on the ancient Silk Road and was once the political, economic and cultural center of the Western Regions. Buddhism was first introduced into Xinjiang from India, forming "Western Region Buddhism", and then spread to the Central Plains. The geographical location of Qiuci determined that it became a center of "Western Region Buddhism" and an important bridge for Buddhism to spread to the Central Plains. The Kizil Grottoes were approximately excavated in the 3rd century AD and gradually ceased to be built in the 8th - 9th centuries AD. The long duration of its construction is unique in the world. Then we'll take a bus to Alar City. Lunch: Desert red willow roasted mutton on the way. Dinner: Special hand-grabbed mutton in Alar.

Day 13 Alar - Hotan

After breakfast, we'll enter the Talim Basin and cross the Taklimakan Desert. The entire desert is more than 1,000 kilometers long from east to west and more than 400 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 337,600 square kilometers. It is the largest desert in China and is also known as the "Taklimakan Desert", also the second largest mobile desert in the world, second only to the Rub' al Khali Desert (650,000 square kilometers) on the Arabian Peninsula, and has the largest area of shifting sand in the world. This is the second desert highway in the hinterland of the desert, built along the Hotan River. On both sides of the highway, the poplar trees known as the "desert hero trees" that "live for a thousand years without dying, die for a thousand years without falling, and fall for a thousand years without decaying" stand in the desert. After arriving at Hotan, we'll visit the Hotan Night Market and taste the special roasted duck eggs. Lunch: Xinjiang-style pulled noodles in the desert. Dinner: Special roasted pigeons in Hotan.

Day 14 Hotan - Shache Royal Mausoleum - Shache

After breakfast, we'll head to the ancient city of Shache - the site of the Yeerqiang Khanate, which was one of the most important countries on the ancient Silk Road and was the capital of the Shache State, one of the thirty-six kingdoms in the Western Regions. we'll visit the "Shache Royal Mausoleum". The royal mausoleum covers an area of 1,050 square meters. Although it has a history of hundreds of years its wall decoration patterns, building materials and structural layout are still as clear as new. It consists of a mosque, a cemetery and the mausoleum of Amannisa Khan. In the west of the cemetery is a mosque with a painted ceiling and a high platform. In the east of the cemetery is the Alatun Zao Dam. the cemetery is in the middle. The tombs were arranged in an orderly manner in the prominent central part, which are the mausoleums of the successive khans of the Yeerqiang Khanate. In the southeast corner of the mausoleum area is the mausoleum built to commemorate Amannisa Khan, the famous Uygur master of the Twelve Muqam music. After enjoying the Twelve Muqam performance, we'll take a bus to Shache. Dinner: Special roasted mutton chops in Shache.

Day 15 Shache - Kashgar

After breakfast, we'll head to Kashgar. It takes about one hour to apply for the pass. After that, we'll take a bus to the urban area of Kashgar, visit the Kashgar Museum and experience afternoon tea in the ancient city to enjoy the leisure life of ethnic minorities. Lunch: Pigeon noodle, a specialty in Kashgar. Dinner: Hand-grabbed mutton in Kashgar.

Day 16 Kashgar - Karakul Lake - White Sand Lake - Red Mountain Canyon - Kashgar

Visit the alpine lake - Karakul Lake. "Karakul" means "Black Sea". It is 3,600 meters above sea level, with a depth of 30 meters and a total area of more than 100,000 square kilometers. It is a glacial erosion and moraine lake, located at the foot of the Muztagh Ata Glacier, known as the "Father of Icebergs" in the eastern Pamir Plateau. Kirgiz herdsmen often graze here. On sunny days, the clear water reflects the silver peaks, and the lake and the surrounding mountains blend into one, presenting a picturesque scene. The lake is surrounded by ice peaks and snow-capped mountains. In particular, the surrounding Kongur Peak, Kongur Tiube Peak and Muztagh Ata Peak add a magical and beautiful color to the lake. Along the way, you can enjoy the scenery of the Gez River Grand Canyon (also known as the Red River Valley) and Bulunkou Sand Lake (also known as the White Sand Lake). After 90 minutes of free activities by the lake, we'll take a bus back to Kashgar and check in the hotel to have a rest.

Day 17 Kashgar Old City - Tomb of Xiangfei - Emin Minaret

After breakfast, we'll visit the Kashgar Old City to watch the opening ceremony. Then we'll visit the "Artisans' Street - Handicrafts Street", which is the most distinctive cultural and humanistic attraction in the urban area of Kashgar, Xinjiang. The full name of the Artisans' Street is Wusitangboyi Handicrafts Street, which is about one kilometer long and gathers hundreds of handicraft workshops and stalls. It has a complete range of food, drinks and tea, and has seemingly become a high-quality exhibition area for handicrafts in Kashgar and even in Central Asia. You can visit and enjoy delicious food while walking along this street. In the Artisans' Street area, you can taste local authentic specialty snacks and tea at your own expense. There is a Uyghur "Century-old Teahouse" which is the most characteristic in Kashgar. You can listen to the traditional musical instrument performances of the Uyghur people, taste Uyghur black tea and carefully experience that kind of leisure. Then we'll visit the Emin Minaret, the largest mosque in Xinjiang. During festivals, tens of thousands of people come here to worship. We'll tour the Internet-famous alleys: Rainbow Alley, Cloth Bag Alley, and visit the Nang made by the ancestors many generations ago. After that, .VisitXiangfei,Park (includingTomb of Xiangfei. Lunch: Xinjiang-style thin-skinned buns. Dinner: Song and dance dinner at the Kashgar Haierbagh Restaurant.
