Day 1 USA - Beijing

Board an international flight bound for China. Cross the International Date Line.

Day 2 Beijing

Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the luxury hotel for rest and relaxation.

Day 3 Beijing - Hohhot

Beijing, the capital of China, it served as the capital for 5 dynasties over a period of 800 years with each emperor identified as a dragon sent from heaven. After breakfast, we tour Qianmen Street. We will make a stop at the new landmarks of Beijing - the Olympics sites including "Bird's Nest"-National Stadium and the amazing "Water Cube"-Olympic Swimming Pool. Take the high speed train to Hohhot, the capital city of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Inner Mongolia has a peculiar natural scenery, long history and brilliant culture. There are many historic sites in this area. Upon arrival, we will be transferred to our comfortable hotel.

Day 4 Hohhot

After breakfast at the hotel, head to the Inner Mongolia Museum, which has local ethnic characteristics. After the visit, we will go to Princess Heshuo Kejing Mansion, which was built by the sixth daughter of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty in China when she married the Mongolian Prince Dunduobu Dorji. After the visit, go to the Wuta Temple Museum, and then to the Hohhot Ming and Qing Ancient Buildings Complex to visit the Dazhao Temple, the ancestral temple of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty in China. Enjoy Full Feast of Wheat Noodles tonight.

Day 5 Hohhot - Xilamuren Grassland

After breakfast, drive to Xilamuren Grassland, where you can enjoy the vast sky, boundless wilderness, the wind blowing the grass and see cattle and sheep, and experience the unique nomadic customs. Occasionally on the vast grassland we can see a few horse-drawn carts lined up in a long line, accompanied by the pleasant sound of bells and melodious pastoral songs, as if we were in a picturesque scenery. After arriving, we will go to the Mongolian Ranch to experience interesting activities on the grassland. After lunch, we will go to Hongger Oboo, the largest Oboo on the grassland, to watch the extremely shocking large-scale live equestrian drama "Legend of the South of the Desert". Then we will go to the yurt camp to experience the Mongolian people's ritual dismounting and wine welcome ceremony to welcome guests from afar.

Day 6 Hohhot - Yinken Resonant Sand Gorge - Ordos

In the early morning, go to Yinken Singing Sand Bay, known as the Disneyland in the Desert (including tickets and cableway), and experience the free and leisure tour of Xiansha Island (including camel riding, desert surfing cars, desert motorcycles, desert golf, desert bicycles, desert swings, aerial zip lines, Guolao Theater and many other entertainment projects). The Yinken Singing Sand Bay, located in the desert on the south bank of the Yellow River, is as famous as the Singing Sand Mountain in Dunhuang, Gansu, and Shapotou in Zhongwei, Ningxia, and is known as one of the three major singing sands in China. After the desert activities, drive to Ordos and stay overnight in Ordos.

Day 7 Ordos - Genghis Khan Mausoleum - Yinchuan

After breakfast, visit the Genghis Khan Mausoleum, a Chinese national intangible cultural heritage, one of the top 40 tourist attractions in China, and the world's largest tourist area with Genghis Khan culture and Mongolian culture as its theme, located 90 kilometers away from Ordos City. After the visit, we go to Yinchuan, China's largest Hui ethnic group settlement area and the capital of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

Day 8 Yinchuan - Zhongwei

After breakfast, we headed to Zhongwei. On the way, you can visit the cliff of Qingtongxia Reservoir, where there is a huge group of towers, which are carved in 12 steps, with a total of 108 towers. At noon, we arrived at Zhongwei, an important town in the Tengger Desert. Visit the Gao Temple, which is located on the north city wall and is famous for its height. The whole building is stacked with pavilions and rises step by step. The design is ingenious. Today’s highlight is to go rafting on the ancient Yellow River Trail in a sheepskin raft in Zhongwei. At the same time, you can enjoy the magnificent scenery on both sides of the Yellow River, which is extremely beautiful. Then visit the Gao Temple.

Day 9 Zhongwei - Yinchuan

After breakfast, we drive back to Yinchuan, our tour starts with a visit to Western Xia Tombs, the largest and the best protected imperial cemeteries in China. Continue to Western Xia Museum to learn more of its history and culture. Later we proceed to see the cliff carvings in Helan Mountain.

Day 10 Yinchuan - Beijing - Chengde

After breakfast, we fly back to Beijing. Upon arrival, we drive to Qingdongling (Eastern Qing Tombs). Qingdongling is Death Valley-five emperors,14 empresses, 136 imperial consorts- and in the mountains ringing the valley are buried princes, dukes, imperial nurses. The approach to the tomb area is a common "spirit way", similar to that of the Ming Tombs but with the addition of marble-arch bridges. You will visit the tombs of Emperor Qian Long and Empress Dowager Cixi. After the visit you will have a better understanding of the feudal history of China. Drive to Chengde.

Day 11 Chengde

You will visit the Imperial Mountain Resort, Putuozongcheng Temple and Puning Temple. The Imperial Mountain Resort is the largest imperial garden preserved in the world, the magnificent Outer Temples is the biggest group of imperial temples. You will visit Pu tuo zong cheng Temple and Puning Temple. Pu Tuo Zong Cheng looks like Potala Palace of Lhasa, Tibet. Puning Temple was built in 1755.

Day 12 Chengde - Beidaihe - Qinhuangdao

Drive to Qinhuangdao. Tour Old Dragon's Head,the start of the Great Wall, Shanhaiguan Pass (First Pass Under Heaven), the legendary MengJiangnu's Temple.

Day 13 Qinhuangdao - Tianjin - Beijing

After breakfast, we drive to Tianjin. Tour the Ancient Cultural Street built in the 14th century and Food Street. Enjoy a local flavor lunch. Travel back to Beijing in the afternoon.

Day 14 Beijing - USA

After breakfast, you are transferred to airport for your return flight back to your home. You will be in the United States the same day. End of tour.
